Anthony David Gonzalez is a ex- American football tightener, who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. He is considered to be one of the top American tight ends of all time and holds the NFL record for most receiving yards among every tight end. He is third in all time for the amount of receiving yards.
The former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as a FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez has been a regular guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF in the 2017 NFL season. The hour-long pregame show precedes FOX NFL Sunday on Sundays, at 11 AM ET during the NFL Season.
Gonzalez has signed a contract extension to The Falcons for two years and $11 million on March 15 2013. This was despite having stated that Gonzalez was claiming he would like to retire following the football season of 2013. Randy Moss retired in 2013 in 2013, and Gonzalez at 37 at the time spent the last year of his professional career in the position of being the NFL leader for receiving yards.
